Youth Health Champions

Eight students in Year 9 have spent four days training to be Youth Health Champions. This is a Level 2 course run by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) in conjunction with Food For Life. As well as developing their knowledge of local health improvement facilities and their understanding of health issues the students worked as a group to develop their skills in research and presenting to an audience. The students will be running campaigns in school next year to help develop a healthy lifestyle at Batley Grammar School.
